Executive, Advocate, Social Impact Leader
Nicole Wells Stallworth is a non-profit executive, strategist, advocate, and social impact leader who has spent more than two decades on the front lines of advocacy for some of the most significant issues that impact equity and quality of life outcomes for all people.
She has held executive roles leading 501c3 and 501c4 social welfare organizations in the sexual and reproductive healthcare, behavioral health, child welfare, and public education sectors.
Nicole served as Executive Director for Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan and Vice President for Public Affairs for Planned Parenthood of Michigan during the pivotal SCOTUS ruling on the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case. She was instrumental in leading Planned Parenthood’s strategy for protecting access to abortion and reproductive freedom in Michigan.
She is a board member at Michigan Voices and a founding board director for Black Advocates. As chair of the board of directors for MacDowell Preparatory Academy, she outlined a bold vision for increasing academic outcomes for scholars and played a key role in eliminating debt and improving student performance.
Nicole has been recognized as a National Women’s History Diversity IMPACT 50 honoree, Rolling Out Magazine’s Sisters with Superpowers, a Michigan Chronicle Women of Excellence honoree, and a Michigan Front Page Top 40 under 40 recipient.
